Visiting the Happiest City in America

Over the past weekend I tagged along with Bryce on a furniture order he had to deliver to San Luis Obispo.  It's always great leaving the busy city life for adventure and travel.  S.L.O. was deemed "the happiest city in America" a few years ago by Oprah, and as we all know when Oprah speaks, you listen.  I would have to say she was right on the money with this.  S.L.O. was nothing shy of friendly and beautiful.  We made our way around the town center with the dog discovering the beauty, nature, and sights it had to offer.  If you are a fan of tapas and plan to visit S.L.O. in the future I recommend Luna Red.  They were great!  -AG

A Malibu Wedding - Nicki and Jay

What more could you ask for then to be present at a wedding in Malibu, CA for two of your friends?  And not to mention being sea side for the wedding where surfers are catching wave after wave.  With perfect weather Nicki and Jay sealed the deal during the last couple hours of a Saturday afternoon in early April.  I've been to my fair share of weddings but this one was extremely simple, elegant, and nothing short of fun.  But let's be honest when you mix people from Texas, Colorado, and Chicago (among other places) you are bound to have a great time!  Congrats you two!  -AG

Best wedding decoration was the photo Nicki and Jay used of their dog, just goes to show it was truly a no holds bar fun wedding.

I could have eaten my weight in the above image!  Mini chicken and waffles with a sweet glaze lightly drizzled on them!!!  For any future brides and grooms that book me in the future, just know that if these are featured I will give you a $100 discount (except on out-of-country weddings)​ if you have these at your wedding.  I'm not even kidding.  AMAZING!

​I have a special place in my heart for the mothers of the bride and/or groom.  Nicki's mom was no exception.  She was hysterical and the best ever!  We even managed to have a polaroid photo shoot, she was a blast!
