Here it is! I know all you avid readers and viewers have waited the last two days for Part 2 from my recent travels and adventures to the far north state of Maine. Part 1 was all images from land adventures, and this much smaller post shares the coastal images I managed to snap up using my iPhone and Nikon.
Genna and Cory lucked out with the coolest home possible. One side of their home is against a Nature Preserve and the other side faces the coast across the street. Being so close makes it easier to walk the dogs along the beach, oh and they actually let you have dogs on the beach, unlike here in Los Angeles where it's frowned upon and also banned. (Unless you take them down to the beach when it's dark out and no one can see you let them run free, but you still pick up the poop.) Anyways it was fun seeing the far northeastern coast and how much more different and similar it can be to the southern pacific coast. Enjoy the visuals. -AG
That little snail above was cruising to make it back to the sea during low tide.
These "pots" as you would call them only reveal themselves during low-tide and we have no clue as to what they came from or what their purpose is.
I brought the crab home and have coated it with a clear protector coat to keep it in it's whole shape. Possibly making it's way to a future terrarium, but either way I just love that it looks like it's last breath was spent waving it's claw at a passing friend. "enjoy the journey."
Oh yeah and I'm for hire! That's right, let's make and capture some adventures of your own... click here
